拍品專文
The figures are thought to represent Cupid and Psyche, although the print source is not known. Compare the very similar plate in the Royal Museums of Art and History, Brussels, exhibited Hong Kong, 1989-90, Chinese Export Porcelain, pp.217-8, no.85. Others are illustrated by D. S. Lunsingh Scheurleer, Chinese Export Porcelain - Chine de Commande, 1974, no.231; and by F. and N. Hervouët and Y. Bruneau, La Porcelaine des Compagnies des Indes à Décor Occidental, 1986, p.321, fig.13.103.
