Of rectangular shape fitted with two hinged doors enclosing four drawers of identical size; the interiors of the doors and front of the doors lacquered with swallows flying over waves and a pine beach in gold hiramaki-e and togidashi with a nashiji background, the interiors of the doors and the drawers matching; the exterior designed with a continuous scene of a stream meandering through the pine and plum gardens, a veranda shown on the lid and a cart on the doors; the base fundame and the fittings silver engraved with foliage--5 7/8 x 4 3/8 x 5 3/8in.
