etching and drypoint in dark brown, 1879-80, on laid paper, a fine, clear impression printed with a delicate plate tone, fifth state (of six), trimmed close to the platemark by the artist, signed with the butterfly and inscribed 'imp' in pencil on the tab, signed with an additional indistinct butterfly and the artist's circle device (indicating a special impression) on the reverse, several unobtrusive tiny tears (some repaired) at the left sheet edge, several very pale stains on the reverse, otherwise generally in very good condition, framed
S. 7 7/8 x 11½in. (199 x 292mm.)
