Of shaped oval form, the rim applied with elaborate acanthus scrolls and rocaille, with acanthus scroll side handles, the field flat-chased with acanthus scrolls, strapwork, swags and rocaille and engraved with a coat-of-arms, coronet and motto, marked under base and struck with English import marks for 1948--36 1/2in.
