The round jar with sloping shoulder fitted with a flat, circular cover moulded with a crouching boar knop, delicately painted in underglaze blue with large cockerels and a hen amongst stands of flowers and grasses, the cover painted with four butterflies, mounted on an ormolu bronze base but not drilled- 9 in. (22.9 cm.) high excluding base
