Rectangular flattened box, the cover inset with 15 concentrically engraved tinted shell tondi centered by gold flowerheads, on a base of mother-of-pearl engraved with a pattern of circles and small flowerheads, the base similarly engraved and applied, with plain gold sides, with slightly flaring thumbpiece -- 56 mm wide.
