A MASSIVE ORMOLU-MOUNTED SÈVRES-PATTERN VASE AND STEEPLY DOMED COVER

With a maiden wearing a white robe and billowing green drapery attended by a god, a maiden and cherubs festooned with pink rose garlands, the reverse with cupids and roses, the dark blue flared neck richly gilt with a vase of flowers resting on a musical trophy and with rococo scrolls, palm-fronds and swags, the cover similarly decorated, the spreading base gilt with stylised birds flanking a vase, mounted with a large pineapple finial, two scroll handles with female masks in relief, on leaf supports and with leaves at the lower body, on a shaped square base cast with laurel (hair crack to cover, typical crazing to glaze), signed, cover with imitation interlaced L mark
