Princess Louise-Henriette de Bourbon-Conti (1726-1759) was married to the Duc de Chartres, called Gros Louis, later Duc d'Orléans, in 1743. She was the mother of the future Philippe-Égalité. The present miniature is after Nattier's oil portrait of 1744 which was exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1745 (now in the Nationalmuseum, Stockholm, inv. nr NM 1186).
