The first with 28-bore octagonal sighted barrel with Indian arsenal marks in Hindi script and retained by seven silvered copper bands, the tang with oval gold-lined maker's stamp, hardwood three-quarter stock (tip of fore-end incomplete), silvered copper mounts including side-plates held by nails with silvered copper rosette-shaped washers, gilt serpentine and pierced trigger, and iron sling loop (ramrod missing); the second with 10-bore three-stage sighted barrel with punched finish apart from the shaped muzzle and breech (barrel bands missing), hardwood full stock (minor damage) with grooved panel behind the barrel, match-holder, pricker and pivoting pan-cover all joined by chains, iron sling loops, and iron ramrod
