With swamped octagonal barrel cut with seven rounded grooves, engraved with scrolls on the flat of the muzzle, and with silver fore-sight and engraved reblued leaf back-sight, the breech with gold-lined oval maker's stamp (Neue Støckel 7293) and detachable touch-hole, engraved tang, flat lock with enclosed wheel finely engraved with C-scrolls and foliage, the fence to the cock and cock-spring en suite, signed in full within a scrollwork cartouche on the tail, and engraved within a central cartouche with Zeus aiming his bow at a dragon, engraved sliding pan-cover, moulded figured walnut full stock carved with rococo ornament in relief (fore-end with old chips and cracks), shaped iron mounts engraved with symmetrical designs of scrolls and strapwork, flat side-plate engraved with a seated pauper, indented trigger-guard engraved with the number 1, sliding patch-box cover veneered in rootwood, and green and white horn, the base of the cheek-piece en suite, light and dark horn fore-end cap, dark horn butt-plate with iron button, set trigger, engraved iron ramrod-pipes, and associated horn-tipped ramrod
