INDENTMajor Henry William Sibley entered the Army as Ensign 32nd. Foot, 1845; Lieutenant 1848; appointed Paymaster, 46th Foot, October 1854 and served with them in the Crimea, 1854-55 which included the siege and fall of Sebastopol; Honorary Major, 1864; Major Sibley died, 1872

Private John Ball, promoted Corporal 12 December 1854 is shown on the medal roll as "Died 11 January 1855"

Private Francis O'Brien is shown in the London Gazette 11.12.1854 as killed during the Second Battle of Inkermann, 5 November, 1854 but it would appear that he was wounded as he is shown as being at Scutari and was invalided to England 5 May 1855; Private O'Brien was discharged at Chatham 17 January, 1856
