INDENT Captain Alfred Terence Leatham Richardson, born at Brislington Vicarage, Bristol, educated at Eton and Exeter College, Oxford, was commmissioned 2nd Lieutenant in the West Somerset Yeomanry August, 1914 and embarked from Liverpool eventually landing at Simla 9 October 1915; served in Egypt and Palestine where the Regiment became dismounted and formed the 12th (WSY) Bn. Somerset Light Infantry; Captain Richardson was killed in action 6 November 1917 during an attack on the Sheria Defences, north of Beersheba, Palestine
