A JARDINIÈRE ON A TRIFORM RAM'S MASK AND HOOF SUPPORT, of Renaissance inspiration, the cream-ground compressed globular body painted perhaps by Harry Chair with swags of forget-me-nots suspended from branches of fruiting vine and from pink dahlias below a green shoulder moulded with ruyi lappets and a waisted blue neck reserved with apricot cartouches enclosing cherubs' masks and scrolling leaves, the blue lower body tapering to form a cone resting on three moulded green supports with rams' mask terminals and hoof feet, on a beaded triform base (slight wear to gilding at rim, small chip to base), purple printed marks, model number 1729, date code for 1895
