Jaiqing seal mark in iron-red and of the period (1796-1820)
The exterior delicately painted with a continuous view of the harbor city of Tengge, with sailing boats and a hill in the distance and a black four-character mark, Tengge gaofeng, between a narrow band of foliate scroll in pale blue enamel below and a double-line border in underglaze blue above, the interior decorated in iron-red with a central medallion of pine, prunus and finger citron below a ruyi band at the rim.

The mark Tengge Gaofeng may be translated, 'Mountain Views of Tengge'.
