Lot Essay

Woodton Hall, Norfolk was built by Robert Suckling in 1694. The Suckling family lived at the Hall until 1831, it was then let to Dr. Yellowby and his family. The only visual records of the Hall were painted by the Yellowby daughters, but for these watercolours no one would know what the house was like as the Hall was demolished in 1841
