Each with a crossbanded rectangular top with outset rounded corners and a banded frieze above a glazed door enclosing a shelf and a green velvet-lined interior between turned and tapering line-decorated columns raised on slender turned tapered feet

The elegant line-inlaid tapering columns feature on the documented work of Gillows, such as a rosewood side cabinet supplied for Clonbrook, Co. Galway in circa 1800 and illustrated in F. Collard, Regency Furniture, Woodbridge, 1985, p.83.
