The tall vase of ovoid from set on a splayed foot with waisted neck ending in a wide, rolled mouth, painted with a frieze of vessels, numerous censers, bowls, vases, pots, bowls and boxes, all different, in various enamels, including blue and white enamel, to simulate blue and white porcelain, brown, to simulate Ixing ware, black, to simulate lacquer, and turquoise, yellow, red, blue, and gold, bordered by a band of formal scroll at the foot, gilt and blue diaperwork at the shoulder, and a band of chrysanthemum florets around the neck, below a narrow band of gilt fretwork--14¾in. (37.5cm.) high
