Punkinhead was made exclusively as the mascot for Eaton's department store in Toronto. He became the hero of several storybooks, as well as the leader of the annual Santa Claus parade.

with brown mohair, golden mohair chest and inner ears, large clear and black glass eyes painted white on back, Mohican-style scalp lock of long white mohair, beige velvet cut muzzle, black stitched nose and smiling mouth, swivel head, jointed limbs, brown felt pads, beige velvet feet and label stitched to right foot pad --16in. (41cm.) tall, circa 1950 (replaced red felt shorts)
