A CYPRIOT WHITE PAINTED WARE TWIN NECKED JUG
MIDDLE BRONZE AGE, CIRCA 1900-1800 B.C.
The tall flattened body with twin necks fusing into central cutaway-beak spout, vertical loop handle with bi-lobed thumb-grip and a pierced lug at the base, three pierced lugs on the front of the neck, the body with red painted chequerboard pattern divided by central band of wavy lines on one side and connecting lozenges on the other, a serpentine line down each side, flattened base, spout repaired
