A pair of Sèvres style turquoise- ground vases and covers
urn shaped, the domed covers with pinecone finials, each painted with a a continuous landscape depicting a classical woman and putto before a lakeside with buildings and urns, within gilt 'jewelled' bands, below flared scalloped rims, with gadrooned lower sections, the circular feet upon square bases with four paw feet, imitation Sèvres marks, circa 1860 (light rubbing to gilding) -- 27cm. high
