unsigned, with hour ring graduated round the inside edge, folding gomon, folding latitude arm graduated 10-90°, folding foliate-engraved and pierced plummet support and plummet, the octagonal base-plate with engraved foliate decoration, the glazed compass box (one screw loose) with blued-steel needle and engraved on the underside with the latitudes of ten European cities and towns -- 2¾in. (7cm.) wide
