Blue interlaced L's enclosing date letters LL for 1788 and painter's mark for Mme. Descoins to both, the cup incised 47, the saucer 22
Reserved with the crowned monogram M in flowers within a purple beaded medallion suspended from the border decoration of blue tassled drapery swags suspended from a beaded line, themselves suspending garlands of yellow flowers, sprays of cornflowers and pink medallions, a pink scalloped terrace issuing single flowers
