The melon-fluted kettle with cast and chased oak-branch swing handle and spout, with oak-leaf and acorn terminals, the hinged domed cover with detachable acorn and oak-leaf finial, the handle with ivory insulators, the foliate scroll stand on four spreading rocaille feet, the lamp of circular bombé form with detachable plain cover, engraved with a crest on lamp cover and stand, marked on base of kettle, inside cover, on foot of stand, on base of lamp and on bezel of lamp cover, base of kettle also stamped 'STORR & MORTIMER'
