Circa 1778, blue interlaced L's mark, painter's mark for Micaud, gilder's mark for Le Guay, the cup incised 36/9, the saucer incised 37
Painted with baskets of fruit and flowers including cut melon, peaches, grapes, roses, peonies and narcissus on marble ledges within broad gilt line panels, the ground gilt with luxuriant scrolling flowering branches
3 1/8in. (7.9cm.) high, the cup; 6in. (15.2cm.) diam., the saucer (2)
