Tibaldeo, a celebrated poet and literatus from Ferrara, was particularly popular in Rome, where he used to compose and sing his own poems and verses for Pope Leo X. The work includes more than 280 sonnets about love, friendship, faith and death, as well as a dialogue and some epistles. A fresh copy, preserving some deckle edges.
