With imitation twist two-stage barrel fluted octagonal at the breech, and with punched finish throughout and ring at the muzzle, silver fore-sight, plain grooved tang, faceted lock, moulded walnut half-stock (minor bruising) with cheek-piece, and carved in relief with strapwork and foliage, shaped brass mounts cast and chased with scenes of the chase, horn fore-end cap, iron sling mounts, and associated horn-tipped ramrod (some scattered surface pitting)
