A Meissen Hausmalerei saucer
Circa 1720-25, the decoration very slightly later
The schwartzlot centre painted with a port with figures in boats and on quaysides within an iron-red and gilt circle cartouche, the gilt border with husks suspended from shaped diaper-pattern panels divided by scrolling foliage, gilt band rim (minor small restored chip to underside of rim at 12 o'clock and small restored rim chip at 8 o'clock, slight wear to gilding, two minute chips to footrim)
