framed between glass panels with a letter of provenance from F.G. High, with its original wrapper, a newspaper cutting from F.G. High dated 1912 and a catalogue entry label pasted to the reverse reading Nelson, Lord. A lock of his hair presented by Horatia Nelson-Ward to Mary Bloom, great aunt of the present owner, F.G. High, Esq., J.P., a certificate from whom accompanies the lot -- 11½ x 7in. (29 x 18cm.)
