A Minton pâte-sur-pâte plate
Year cypher for 1871, impressed marks, puce globe mark
Decorated by Marc Louis Solon with 'Danceur Decord', depicting a scantilly-clad nymph balancing on a tight-rope holding a cane vertically, from which is suspended a heart at one end and a purse at the other, monogrammed, on a black ground within sea-green band decorated in blue with hearts and circles and gilt ornament within concentric blue lines, gilt dentil rim (minor surface scratches and rubbing to gilding)

This plate was almost certainly one of the fourteen dessert plates decorated by Marc Louis Solon for the Vienna International Exhibition of 1873.
