With octagonal sighted hinged tip-up barrel signed in full on the top flat (rammer missing from left side), plain serial numbered cylinder and frame, side-hammer, chequered walnut grips (repaired), and lanyard-ring in the butt-plate (in worn condition with surface pitting, some surfaces filed down), Birmingham proof marks
