A Victorian engraved gilt-brass strut timepiece in the manner of Thomas Cole with full calendar

The case engraved with scrolling foliage on a hatched ground and with folding easel stand at the back, the foliate engraved silvered dial with Roman chapter ring having blued steel distaff hands, inner concentric calendar ring, subsidiary rings below for day of week and month flanking the signature E.White, 19 Jermyn St., S.W.1., the nickel plated Swiss watch movement jewelled to the centre and with lever escapement; original foliate engraved and gilt calendar adjustment key
