Lacquered in gold and silver hiramaki-e and takamaki-e and nashiji and kirigane highlights on a roiro-nuri ground, the frame designed with morning glories along a bamboo fence and wisteria, the edges and corners decorated with floral lozenges, and the set comprising: a four-tier lobed stacking food box with panels of landscapes, wisteria on trellises or deer in clover, the surrounding area floral lozenges; a small rectangular covered box decorated with a lobster, plants and waves; a lobed, square footed tray lacquered with a bonsai tree and a rock on a footed stand, with embellishments of inlaid silver; five red-lacquer sweet trays with plovers, and two cylindrical pewter sake flasks set on another rectangular covered food box decorated with morning glories; box interiors red lacquer and edges fundame; frame with loop handle
