The outer carrying case brown lacquer with metal fittings, the cover removable and the hinged front opening to reveal the picnic set designed entirely in red lacquer and comprising; a rectangular sake container; a rectangular box; three sake cups; three bowls of five different sizes; a small square serving tray and three rounded-square sweet trays set on four black-lacquer feet; a large rectangular covered box; a rectangular three-tier covered box
