A Single-Case Wood Ritsuo-Style Inro**
(20th century), with ceramic seal Kan
Fan-shaped and carved in low-relief on the exterior with a caparisoned elephant carrying a stupa decorated in gold and red lacquer, the stupa inlaid in blue hardstone, the reverse musical instruments carved in relief and decorated in red and gold lacquer, the interior gold lacquer with an applied ceramic Emma-o seated behind a large drum on one side, the band of his cap mother-of-pearl with the Chinese character "o" (king) incised on the front, the opposite side with Sanskrit inscription and a white ceramic seal Kan; fitted with a lacquer bead ojime carved with mitsu-tomoe and an ivory netsuke of Kiyohime and the bell of Dojoji, signed Nanryu
