M. Gaidon'; one Paris 1774-1780, with the discharge mark of Jean-Baptiste Fouache 1774-1780, other marks rubbed
Three slightly tapering rectangular green lacquer étuis-à-tablettes of flattened oblong section, one, gold-mounted, furthermore painted with flowers and set with two gold Japan-lacquer panels, inside void; one, gold-mounted, set with glazed oval medallions, with floral initials on one side and a hair composition shaped as a sheaf on a pink ground; one, dark green and gold-mounted, with two oval fixé-sous-verre miniatures depicting fêtes champêtres; the two latter with three-leaved tablets inside but pencils missing
