The can painted with sailors at discussion, preparing food and hanging nets on a shore with the masts of a ship in the near distance, within an oval gilt ciselé band cartouche flanked by pendant berried myrtle branches and against a gilt border of interwoven myrtle garlands, the saucer with sailors on a boat with cannons and a barrel inscribed 6.11 upside down, within a similar circular cartouche and border, the underside with a continuous pendant gilt garland, gilt dentil rims (minute very minor scratches to surface)
