The case with simulated ebony line inlays, waisted pediment to the hood, the trunk door painted with Prince of Wales feathers and a portrait profile, the arched painted dial with Roman chapter ring and decorated with a floral garland to the centre, spade hands, later signed to the arch MACABE/LONDON, the eight day movement with scooped plates joined by five pillars, with anchor escapement -- 80½in. (204cm.) high
