A Regency mahogany and brass-mounted striking table clock, circa 1810
With grape and vine finial to the chamfered top, cornucopia and loop handles above brass fishscale sound frets, ebonised ripple mouldings to top and bottoms, with brass-lined fielded panels to the front, on ball feet, the white painted Roman convex dial signed Dwerryhouse/London, blued steel hands, the eight day twin wire fusee movement with shouldered plates and anchor escapement, strike on bell, with holdfast to the back plate -- 19½in. (45cm.) high
