JOHN LENNON & BEATLES PHOTOGRAPHS BY DEZO HOFFMANN
1963-1967
Seven black and white photographs of John Lennon taken by Dezo Hoffmann from 1963 to 1967. The earliest shot, and the largest, candidly captures Lennon making tea at Paul McCartney's Liverpool home in April 1963 as seen on page 102 of The Beatles Anthology. Other shots from that era show Lennon at Abbey Road Studios with a guitar with Paul McCartney in background, and in a portrait wearing plastic framed glasses. The two photos from 1967 were taken at Brian Epstein's house for the press reception of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Each photo has Dezo Hoffmann's photography stamp on verso.
