CIRCA 1725-26, BLUE ENAMEL CROSSED SWORDS MARK, GILDER'S T. MARK
Painted with a harbour scene of merchants in conversation before a junk and a rocky outcrop with a bridge, the reverse with an estuary scene of tents below palm trees, figures and rockwork, within gilt quatrefoil cartouches with gilt scrolls enclosing Böttger-lustre panels issuing purple and iron-red scrolls, the interior with a gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk border at the rim (slight wear to gilding, rim with ground areas most probably from time of manufacture)
