CIRCA 1725, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK TO SAUCER, DREHER'S TO FOOTRIMS
From models by J.J. Irminger, the lower parts moulded with bands of stiff acanthus leaves, decorated in Dresden by Funke with geometric interlocking C-scrolls and flowerheads, the veins of the leaves enriched in gilding, the teabowl interior and saucer richly gilt (areas of wear and slight scratching to upper side of saucer, further areas of very slight and minute wear)

With A. Torre, from whom it was acquired in 1972.
