Painted with estuary scenes of figures in river landscapes within gilt quatrefoil cartouches, the cartouche on the saucer with gilt trellis-pattern panels among ombrierte scrolls, the border gilt with net, diaper and scale-pattern sections among scrolls, the cup with a plain scroll handle (patches of wear to gilt cartouche of saucer and handle terminal, some light rubbing to borders)
