BOTH CIRCA 1723, THE CUP DECORATION CIRCA 1740
The cup probably decorated by Dannhofer with two figures of Orientals beside a vase and an exotic bird among flowering shrubs and trees, below gilt C-scrolls, flowerheads and bands, the saucer with a figure of an Oriental drinking a bowl of tea and holding a pipe, standing above a table among flowers below a border of gilt C-scrolls and flowerheads, the underside painted in the Kakiemon manner with three poeny sprays (2)
