THE PORCELAIN PROBABLY GOTSKOWSKY PERIOD CIRCA 1761-2, THE DECORATION CIRCA 1763-4, BLUE SCEPTRE MARKS TO MOST PIECES, IMPRESSED 10, 002 AND 0 MARKS
The spouts with female masks, painted with animals including stags, rabbits, dogs and various gamebirds, two scenes with dogs hunting birds and one with a fox chancing on some duck eggs, in landscapes within gilt scroll-moulded rococo cartouches against turquoise grounds with vertical gilt staves, comprising:
A coffee-pot and domed cover, with a branch-moulded wishbone handle (pot with restored rim chips, cover with minute chipping to finial)
A hot-milk-jug and domed cover, the side with a branch and rocaille-moulded handle (cover with slight flaking to turquoise enamel)
A circular sugar-bowl and domed cover (cover with very small and minor restored chip to underside of rim, minute chip to finial)
Two cups and saucers (one saucer with rim chip and associated crack, slight flaking to turquoise enamel, crack to rim and associated area of restoration to underside)
(Some areas of very slight wear to gilding throughout)
