1813-1816, BLUE STENCILLED INTERLACED L'S ENCLOSING SEVRES AND FLEUR-DE-LYS MARK AND INCISED H TO EACH, ONE CUP AND SAUCER INCISED WITH DATE CYPHER CZ, THE OTHER SZ, GILDER'S MC: 20 J AND INDECIPHERABLE DATE TO BOTH CUPS

According to the factory archives, the present cups were first modelled in 1813 as part of a complete dejeuner presented to the comtesse de Beauveau on 1 January 1814.
The service was named déjeuner 'de formes variees', comprising a cup, sugar bowl, cream jug, and teapot and round tray. Because of its popularity, Sèrves continued to produce some of the individual pieces, such as the teapot and the tasse 'cobea' into the 1830s.
