A finely engineered and well presented model spirit fired Stuart stationary steam set,
comprising a Babcock type boiler with 6.3cm. (2½in.) diameter drum and fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety and clack valves and main stop valve with two-way manifold with stop valves and steam lines to a 10v and a 10H engine, each ¾in. bore x ¾in. stroke, and with displacement lubricators, the 10v driving a 4volt dynamo via ropes and line shafting lighting an overhead lamp, the 10H driving a saw bench via ropes and line shafting. Other details include water tower and hand feed pump, the whole finished in various colours and mounted on an incised aluminium floor, mahogany base and glazed cover, teak and chrome display stand with castors. Measurements overall -- 87.5 x 76cm. (34½ x 30in.)
