An unusual 7¼in. gauge wood and metal static display model of the Chicago Milwaukee and St Paul Railway Baldwin 4-4-0 locomotive and tender No.793,
with external details including decorated boiler with hand rails, headlamp, bell (detached), headlamp, and other details. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders, double bar crosshead guides, the valve chest engraved, Merrisell & Co. Smethwick England, cowcatcher and much brass decoration. Tender details include twin four wheel bogies, decorative riveting, tool boxes, water cocks (one detached) and other details, the whole finished in various colours and mounted on a display base with glazed cover. Measurements overall -- 70 x 190.5cm. (27½ x 75in.)
