The hood with outset columns and the short trunk door flanked by reeded pilasters, on panelled plinth, the 11½ in. square white painted Arabic dial with arch date aperture, the movement with four pillars, anchor escapement and outside countwheel strike on bell -- 77½ in. (197 cm.) high
