The tondo with a standing youth facing right, a mantle draped over his left shoulder and arm, and wrapped around his body, holding a staff in his extended left hand, his right arm akimbo, ghosts of a wreath in added red in his hair, a small pillar on a plinth behind him, perhaps a footrace turning post; enclosed by a band of meander with crossed squares
