Comprising a pair of bergères, a pair of fauteuils, four chaises and two canapés, each with rectangular back, padded arms and seat covered in pink and ivory patterned silk damask, with beaded and ribbon-twist rails above stop-fluted uprights surmounted by pomegranates, the shaped arms on acanthus-wrapped baluster supports, the side chairs with detached pilaster uprights, the panelled seat-rails with pearled edge, on tapering spirally-twisted turned legs headed by rosettes, the fauteuils both stamped 'N. S. COURTOIS' and 'P. BERNARD', a bergère, the two fauteuils, two chaises and the two canapés each with a label inscribed '39', the two bergères and a fauteuil with unreadable labels
